It's so easy to get lost and feel small in some of Asia's bigger cities so Matt and I have been happily playing with our new Nikon D90 to help us make Asia feel not so small! Special kudos to Matt for his excellent Photoshop skills!

I love them! Pinklao District, Bangkok is my fav.
ReplyDelete@Fearful Girl Thanks! It's a cool effect, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteVery nice, looking forward to your next shots!
ReplyDelete@AngelaCorrias Thanks Angela! These are fun photos to take so we're looking forward to doing more!
ReplyDeleteCan we buy a real Tilt/Shift lens? Pretty Please!
ReplyDeleteX
wow, girl did you get a tilt shift lens or is done in photoshop? Its amazing!
ReplyDeleteBangkok photo at the top is my favourite. It looks like Legoland! :) Clever Photoshop people. I'm useless with it.
ReplyDelete@Matt Honey, you can buy all the expensive lens you want for my camera. I will let you! =)
ReplyDelete@Sarah Wu Wish we had a tilt shift lens but Matt created the effect with Photoshop. He's pretty much like a genius!
@Julia Thanks! Matt's the one who's been playing with the Photoshop. I'm pretty useless with it as well! But I agree, the Legoland effect is pretty amazing.
I love the pinklao one. The cars look like toys!
ReplyDelete@Rease So surprised that everyone's favorite seems to be of Pinklao! Mine is the Central Piers one!
ReplyDeletewow pretty coool!!! love halong bay one. :) so beautiful there isn't it!
ReplyDeleteThat first photo is amazing! Love it!
ReplyDeleteGreat Pictures! My favorite is "Busy Street"
ReplyDeleteGreat pics, but I'm afraid Asia looks smaller than it looks on the map. LOL, hahahaha, great pictures I'm done being silly
ReplyDelete@milania dela cruz, md. Halong Bay certainly is beautiful!
ReplyDelete@Camels & Chocolate Thanks! It looks like that's everyone's favorite too!
@Brian Tully Thanks Brian! Don't the people look like little Lego guys?
@wilson usman Hey Wilson! Welcome to Connvoyag! Keep on being silly, I don't mind! =)
I like the Halong Bay. Nature my weak spot. But I love the boat from Victoria Habour. It seems like you could just pluck it out from the screen and play with it!
ReplyDelete@Wing The boat ones do look like you can just pick the boats right up, don't they? Fun!
ReplyDeleteGreat shots! My boyfriend has just been teaching me the skills of photoshop and this is one of his favorite features (making things look small or like toys). I'm excited to keep learning!
ReplyDelete@Annie Thanks Annie! Keep at Photoshop! It gets easier with practice! I can't wait to see some of your tilt shift creations!
ReplyDeleteOh I love them!!! They look great!! Are you guys using a preset for the tilt shift or did you do it on your own? I want to do some as well - they look so fun! My fave is the one of Halong Bay, Vietnam.
ReplyDeleteMy favourite is the busy street in Macao! Lovely photography Connie! I'm still learning the wonders of my Nikon :)
ReplyDelete@bethany The effect is created post-production, is that the correct photography term? What I mean is, we took the photo with my Nikon D90 then used Photoshop to create the tilt shift effect. Definitely try it! It's totally fun!
ReplyDelete@Rosemarie John Oh Rosemary, there are so many things to learn with Nikons, or any DSLR for that matter! I feel like every time I pick mine up, I discover something new. Keep at it! The amazing photos will be worth it!
